Taylor’s great. She was instantly on board for me to shoot her belly, and had tons of ideas for a trash the dress style session with hair flips and “random jumping off things”. It was sooooooo hot, and only took the pair of us a minute to get into the lake. The sight did not go unnoticed to a few spectators peaking over the dock, and paddling around in the water, also trying to escape the heat.
It was so easy to photograph Taylor, she looked gorgeous and was completely natural posing, and keen to “try anything for the price of art”. Here are some of the highlights from our evening.

I was so excited to hear that Em was pregnant, and had saw photos of her cute little baby bump online that I just HAD to ask her if she would let me do some maternity photos with her. Thankfully, she was down.
I thought the whole idea was going to fail miserably when, at 36degrees in Kelowna, I arrived on site and the sun had set behind a mountain, followed by which a man in a nearby home screamed at me that his son had just happened upon a rattlesnake right in the tall grassy field overlooking Okanagan Lake [insert the most beautiful and perfect location EVER!!!], OH and then, after I stomped out of the bushes wondering whether I knew what to do in a situation where a rattlesnake is biting a pregnant woman, a man in a van drove up and asked me if this location was a nude beach………………………… so I had a minor panic attack.
Then Em and Cody drove up and I was instantly stoked. They are such a fun couple and the time went by in a flash, it was cooler with the sun down and we got some really beautiful shots. I can’t wait to meet the little shredder!
